Just Give Me Jesus - I worked on this song off and on for several years and finished it in 2020. This song came about while reflecting on Gods wonderful gift of salvation. A thought that I've always enjoyed is even though conviction is a hard and miserable time, after you accept Christ, it's a wonderful and blessed thing! "Conviction was so heavy but it sang the sweetest song I'd heard". Thank God for Holy Ghost conviction! Then once you have Jesus, He's all you'll ever want! More than riches, more than possessions, there is nothing else that can fill that Jesus shaped hole in you soul but Jesus Himself! So if there's a choice to be made, here's what I say: Just give me Jesus, He's sufficient for me!
